A donation of 40 Alyssa Starter Art Kits (SAKs) was delivered to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital & 40 Alyssa SAKs were delivered to Ronald McDonald House Central Florida in Orlando, FL on Friday, March 17, 2023.
The Alyssa SAKs were received by Child Life Specialist, Emily Morrison at Arnold Palmer and by House Manager, Nicole Infantes at RMH Central.
Over the past 8 years, AAFH has been making donations of professional art kits to these locations. It was our first-time meeting both staff members and they are excited to give these art kits to the young patients. Both Emily and Nicole believe the art kits will provide healing, calming and relaxing time for these young patients while at the hospital and/or the RMH house.
Every day we continue to meet wonderful people from the professional staff at the hospitals and Ronald McDonald House interested in receiving Alyssa SAKs. We look forward to continue sharing Alyssa’s spirit and love for art and music to these institutions in Florida as well as in the Chicago metro area.
