Our Mission
The Alyssa Alvin Foundation for Hope provides an opportunity for teens and young adults* to explore their interests and further their education in music and visual arts while undergoing treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Our vision is to focus on the healing power of creativity and self-expression through music and art. We believe these teens and young adults* can benefit from having musical instruments and professional art supplies available to them. We saw firsthand the joy that music and art brought to our precious daughter, Alyssa, as she went through her cancer treatments.
Our Goals
Provide teens and young adult cancer patients* with opportunities to further their interests in playing a musical instrument and assistance for acquiring a desired musical instrument.
Provide teens and young adult cancer patients* with opportunities to further their interests in the visual arts such as painting and sculpture.
Foster and encourage involvement of teens and young adult patients* with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses in art and musical events.
Share Alyssa’s love for the arts with everyone.
