A set of Beats Solo 3 wireless headphones in the distinctive color “club yellow” were delivered to Aaliyah Chatman while receiving treatment at the Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.
Aaliyah was diagnosed with a high grade neuroepithelial tumor in May 2019 and goes to Lurie on a regular basis where she undergoes treatment. Cheri Hunt prompted Aaliyah to submit a gift request and on August 21, 2019, Aaliyah did.
Aaliyah is an 11-year-old student from Westmont, IL who enjoys drawing, playing with her friends and watching Netflix on her cell phone. She has a great sense of style and an eye for color as she demonstrated with her lime green gym shoes and her request for the club yellow headphones.
Aaliyah is a lovely young girl and we wish her all the best this school year despite the health challenges she is facing.
