Dianne, Malcolm, Courtney and Gabriel joined Yoli and George at our Lakewood Ranch home in Florida to assemble 100 Alyssa Starter Art Kits (SAKs) on Saturday, October 10,2026. 50 journal SAKs and 50 coloring book SAKs were prepared for delivery to Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital and RMH East both in St. Petersburg, FL. Dianne and Courtney both said they had fun participating in this event.
Two weeks ago, Yoli arranged for a donation drop off at each facility. Monday, October 12, 2026, Yoli and George drove to St. Petersburg to meet Tyesha from Childlife at Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital and delivered the 50 SAKs to her. We then drove to the RMH East just a few blocks away and met Marilyn , RMH Manager, to deliver the other 50 Alyssa SAKs.
Over the last eleven years, we have been making Alyssa SAKs donations to both institutions and the comments we receive from their staff is that the children enjoy the journals and coloring books which are appropriate for the teens and they go fast! They always look forward to Alyssa Alvin Foundation For Hope donations of art kits.
