The Alyssa Alvin Foundation for Hope (AAFH) recently made additional deliveries following the huge event at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois when coloring art book kits were assembled by dozens of employee volunteers on June 25, 2025.

On June 30, 200 Alyssa Starter Art Kits (SAKs) were dropped off to Lauren and Sarah at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital. An additional 150 SAKs were delivered to Alex Keane, House Manager at the Ronald McDonald House near Comer.

On July 3, 100 Alyssa SAKs were provided to Emily Jost and Erin Jasper at Loyola Medicine Children’s Hospital. Another 100 coloring book kits were donated to the Ronald McDonald House near Loyola and accepted by their House Manager, Ray.

We are thrilled to have had so much assistance from one of our great corporate partners, Blue Cross Blue Shield, so that we can provide hope to youth across the country who are facing life-threatening illnesses. The legacy of our beloved daughter Alyssa lives on in the areas she loved most, art and music, through the work of her foundation.

Thanks go out to all who participated in this endeavor.
