The Band Director, Pat Frederick, and AP Art Teacher, Louise Grissinger, of the Geneva high School support and promote the sale of Alyssa's Ornaments this Christmas Season. We thank all the students and school staff that gave a donation to support Alyssa's foundation and our mission to bring joy & hope to other young cancer patients through music and art!

Donation Nomination Announcement of Alyssa Alvin Foundation for Hope August 2015
As part of Anthem's program to recognize the volunteer contributions of associates, they annually invite nominations and winners receive a donation for the charity of their choice. Each quarter the Anthem Foundation picks its top three candidates from the nominations and then opens up the vote to associates to pick a grand prize winner. The Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Randy Hutchinson, at AIM Specialty Health subsidiary of Anthem, encouraged AIM Colleagues to submit nominations for Yoli, to help get Alyssa's Foundation into the top three. Stay tuned for the news in September.
The Kind Heart Newsletter July 2015
On the first anniversary of Alyssa's eternal life, July 8, 2015, Alyssa Alvin Foundation for Hope published the first "The Kind Heart" Newsletter. Our dedicated Advisory Board Members, Kevin Cervantes and Marianne Cirone together with the Executive Board created the material for this newsletter. It includes our accomplishments as an organization, our gift recipients who we have helped, our event which are Giving Hope, our Officers & Advisory Board Team, our Sponsors, Donors and more.

EXCHANGE CLUB OF THE TRI-CITIES JUNE 2015
George and Yoli were invited to the Exchange Club of the Tri-Cities to speak about the Alyssa Alvin Foundation for Hope on June 3rd, 2015. In June of 2013, Alyssa was the recipient of the Accepting the Challenge of Excellence (ACE) Award. The Exchange Club members remembered our precious Alyssa and wanted to give us the opportunity to share our story with the rest of the Exchange Club members and the Board at one of their meetings. We are pleased to announce that the Exchange Club gave the Alyssa Alvin Foundation for Hope a generous donation of $500 that day. GENEVA HIGH SCHOOL USED INSTRUMENT AND DONATION DRIVE MAY 2015
The Geneva High School Tri-M Music Honor Society is sponsoring a used instrument drive to support the Alyssa Alvin Foundation for Hope, which aids young cancer patients at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and the Ronald McDonald House near Lurie Children's. Click here for more information.
